# Working with Cassandra Corsmeier Cassandra Corsmeier, also known as Cass, works with audio hardware, electronics, studio workflows, and software for studio equipment. Independent projects are separate from her employment at QSC. ## Choose a service - Repair and calibration: Audio electronics and test equipment. Include manufacturer, model, symptoms, previous repairs or modifications, and any measurements or calibration documentation needed. - Studio setup or build-out inquiries: Describe the room, existing equipment, desired signal flow, installation constraints, and what you want the finished setup to do. Cass will assess the requested scope. - Custom hardware and electronics projects: Describe the idea, existing board or prototype, current problems, and desired deliverable. Ask about board bring-up, troubleshooting, or project documentation. - Audio/video workflow help: Explain the equipment or software involved, the recurring problem, and what you want to improve. This can include exploring where AI tools would help. - [View services](https://cass.app/services) - [Request repair or project help](https://cass.app/repair) ## What to include Provide a reply email, the equipment or project, the problem or goal, and work already attempted. City/region, delivery preference, timing, and budget are useful when relevant. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information. Submitting an inquiry does not book work or authorize a charge. Cass reviews fit, then agrees scope, deliverables, price, timing, and any shipping arrangements. Canonical biography: https://cass.app/about ## Identity and sites Cassandra Corsmeier and Cass Corsmeier are the same person. datakink is her music, production, and mixing identity. cass.app is her portfolio, writing, tools, and independent-services website; datakink.com is her artist website. cassandracorsmeier.com redirects to cass.app. ## Biography I'm Cassandra Corsmeier, usually Cass. I work on audio hardware, write software for studio gear, and produce and mix music as datakink. I'm currently validating hardware at QSC. I've built over 1,000 PCBAs and repaired equipment from the last 50 years. Analog and digital studio hardware take up a lot of my attention. This site is where I keep the projects, tools, and things I've been figuring out. Some are about making music. Others are about getting a piece of equipment working, keeping track of a repair, or getting an agent to do the scrolling for me. ## At the bench Alongside my job, I take on independent repair, calibration, electronics, and studio workflow projects. If you have any gear needing repair, let me know. That work is independent of QSC. We agree on the scope, price, and timing before anything starts. - [Services](https://cass.app/services) - [Repair and project requests](https://cass.app/repair) ## Projects and music ### PCM81 Control An editor for the physical Lexicon PCM81, with bidirectional MIDI SysEx communication. It brings the hardware's controls into a desktop app and plug-ins so you can work with the unit from your computer. - [Explore PCM81 Control](https://cass.app/shop/pcm-81-control-plugin) - [Setup guide](https://cass.app/shop/pcm-81-control-plugin/guide) ### Quadra Control Quadra Control is coming soon for the Quadraverb and Quadraverb Plus. ### datakink I produce and mix as [datakink](https://datakink.com). ### 24-7-B0T I wanted the interesting threads without spending so much time on the timeline. So I built a browser agent to read it, follow promising conversations, save the sources, and bring a ranked set of things to read back to my own site. - [Read about 24-7-B0T](https://cass.app/blog/247bot) - [The earlier idea](https://cass.app/blog/waiting-for-agent) ### PenTest+ flashcards My PenTest+ study notes turned into a set of flashcards, with saved progress and a read-aloud mode. They're here for anyone else working through the material. - [Study the flashcards](https://cass.app/resources/pentest-plus-flashcards-2026) ## Leaving a record I wrote Making Your Way in 2025 after realizing how much of my work and experience I'd never put online. The blog and resources are part of doing something about that: writing down what I tried, what I wanted from it, and what I'm still working out. - [Making Your Way in 2025](https://cass.app/blog/2025) - [Writing](https://cass.app/blog) - [Resources](https://cass.app/resources) - [My hardware and software](https://cass.app/uses) ## Find me - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/cassandra-corsmeier/) - [datakink](https://datakink.com) - [SoundCloud](https://soundcloud.com/datakink) - [Contact](https://cass.app/contact) ## Project context and source boundaries - [PCM81 Control](https://cass.app/shop/pcm-81-control-plugin): PCM81 Control communicates with physical Lexicon PCM81 hardware.
